Cardio and Core

This program is a cardio/floor workout. It is an all in one workout where you will get a fast paced 30 minute standing low impact workout along with light weights, taeboe style, finishing off with a 30 minute lower body workout on the floor covering legs, bum, abs and a short cooldown.

Cardio and Strength Rebounding

Yoga is an excellent healing practice that helps to unify body, mind and breath; creating a sense of peace, stillness and strength. Stretch

This class will allow you to stretch from head to toe, incorporating pilates based moves, finishing it off with some great ab work. Weight For It

A ‘free weight’ program set to stimulating music! This workout will strengthen, define and tone your muscles! Woodshop Orientation

A prerequisite to using the Wood Shop, this 2 hour Orientation on safety and use of equipment is mandatory. Our knowledgeable and experienced instructor will show you how to use the machines and can get you started on projects. (Members are required to bring their own protective eyewear.) Chair Yoga

Chair yoga is great for people who have trouble getting down to the floor. You will learn strength and balance poses that will build up your confidence and improve the quality of your life. There will also be breathing techniques to help slow down your mind and expand your lungs. The entire class is done with the assistance of a chair. This class can be a stepping stone to improving your fitness level.

Line Dancing Beginner

Tai Chi 24

With only 24 movements, it is the perfect way to experience the amazing health benefits of a shortened Tai Chi form, regardless of your current fitness level. Tai chi is known for improving balance, strength and flexibility, as well as keeping the mind sharp and positive. This easy to learn form, with its slow, graceful movements is one of the most popular forms of Tai Chi today. Masks are recommended but not mandatory for this program.

It takes the Zumba formula and modifies the moves and pacing to suit the needs of the active older participant, as well as those just starting their journey to a fit and healthy lifestyle. What stays the same are all the elements the Zumba Fitness-Party is known for: the zesty Latin music, like salsa, merengue, cumbia and reggaeton, exhilarating, easy-to-follow moves, and the invigorating party-like atmosphere. Active older adults want camaraderie, excitement and fitness as a regular part of their weekly schedule. This class is for beginner. Come out and give Zumba a Try!
